The Hotel Cerro de Hijar is located in the Sierra de las Nieves National Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO. This Park and the hotel have recently signed up to the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism.
One hour from Malaga and 45 minutes from Marbella, in the town of Tolox, it has incomparable views over the Guadalhorce Valley.
This singular hacienda has been restored giving it a pleasant atmosphere and taking special care of the details and is managed using sustainable processes, certified by Europarc.
The Hotel has 18 rooms: 12 doubles, one of them specially equipped for disabled people, 6 junior suites and 1 suite. All of them equipped with air conditioning, duvets, low-consumption heating, TV, mini-fridge, ceiling fan and all with balcony with mountain views and full bathroom.
We have a spacious living room with a fireplace; a central patio with a fountain of running water and tables; a covered pergola with the best views of the Hotel; a large garden planted with native species, a sunny pool and parking reserved for hotel guests.
We also have among our facilities a private SPA with views that has a Jacuzzi, steam sauna and rain shower, in addition to the best views.
Also discover our kitchen and enjoy our creative dishes, snacks in the garden and a careful cellar. The José Melía Award from the Gastronomic Academy of Malaga in 2006 is cited annually as a reference restaurant for the area by the Michelin Guide.
