Hotel Cerro de Hijar is located in the natural area of Sierra de las Nieves National Park, declared a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. Recently, both the Park and the hotel have joined the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism. One hour from Málaga and 45 minutes from Marbella, in the village of Tolox, it boasts incomparable views over the Guadalhorce Valley.
At Cerro de Hijar we are committed to protecting the natural environment in which we operate, carrying out a sustainable activity that is respectful of the environment. We promote the efficient use of water and energy through solar panels, as well as waste reduction and recycling. We prioritize local and seasonal products to support local businesses (Zero Kilometre). We collaborate in the planting of native species.
